Communication with children is a continuum from hugs and smiles to door slams and tears. Whether your child has been easy or kicking since the womb, you know that communication can begin as calm, cool and collected and before long swing horribly out of control. Whether you are parenting a toddler or a teenager, focus, firmness and fairness are the foundation of the communication model.  Everyday, children can be participating  in age appropriate responsibilities in the home which provides opportunities for communication, guidance, a feeling a contributing and success.  We all know that parenting is most enjoyable when positive parent-child relationships are established. This workshop provides useful information and techniques for parents on how to communicate successfully in an environment of mutual respect. Good communication is an essential parenting skill so, this workshop will share some tips and tools that work.
